Cube Teams Up with Federation of Master Builders for BSA Webinars

Cube Construction Consultants, Mark Johnston, MCIOB, NEC Reg and Nicola Slater have teamed up with the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) to provide a series of webinars on The Building Safety Act (2022) and what it means for its members.

The five online sessions, available to FMB members via registration on the website, cover a range of topics including an introduction to the Building Safety Act, key legislation and what it means to businesses, how you embed best practice within your organisation and how to demonstrate competence under the Act.

Later in the series it will cover ‘How to identify an HRB’, the new HRB Building Control process and change control, as well as the ‘Golden Thread’ of information.

Mark Johnston from Cube explains:

“The Federation of Master Builders exists to help individuals and businesses to ‘Build with Confidence’. As part of this ethos, in partnership with Cube, the FMB is offering a webinar series designed specifically for its members to gain knowledge of their responsibilities under the act, understand the roles of other duty holders and mitigate risks to their business and clients.

By attending the webinars FMB members can make sure they are fully prepared to navigate the complexities introduced by The Building Safety Act (2022) and understand the safety critical elements which impact their building projects.”

Cube is also currently working in partnership with the CIOB Academy to provide awareness training about the Building Safety Act, legislation that affects everyone in the building and construction industry.
